How much electricity will solar panels generate in Cheshunt?

PVGIS, the European Commission Joint Research Centre's solar model, estimates about 1,016kWh a year per kWp for a south-facing roof at a 35-degree pitch at the centre of the EN8 postcode district, 817kWh facing east and 789kWh facing west. Ten AIKO 485W panels (4.85kWp) on a south slope would therefore be modelled at roughly 4,900kWh a year before shading. PVGIS does not account for nearby trees or buildings, so we check shading on site. Smart Export Guarantee payments on exported electricity require an MCS-certified installation, and ours are MCS certified.
