Do you install commercial solar in Cheshunt?
Yes. As well as homes, we install solar PV for businesses. In 2021 the council announced an Article 4 Direction so that converting offices to homes at named employment sites needs full planning permission. The sites include Cheshunt Business Park on Delamare Road and Fieldings Road. The direction does not cover solar panels, but commercial roofs raise their own structural, planning and grid questions. Systems above 16 amps per phase need G99 approval from the network operator before installation, so we confirm the connection route at survey. Solar panels cannot use Full Expensing because they are special rate assets.
