Is Chesham in the Chilterns National Landscape?

Central Chesham is not, on the government's planning data map, but the National Landscape surrounds the town. The adopted Chesham Neighbourhood Plan says the town is surrounded by the Chilterns National Landscape and Green Belt, and planning data places the HP5 1DA and HP5 3HA postcode points outside the boundary, while the centre of Chartridge village falls inside. For pitched-roof panels it makes no difference. For a flat-roof array on a house on National Landscape land, a prior approval application is needed before work starts.
